The original rear view mirror from Busch & Muller. The design is based on a scaled down BMW motor bike mirror which Busch and Muller manufacture. The design is unique and very functional. The mirror is very easy to fit with plenty of adjustment for perfect alignment. It is supplied with both bar end fit and jubilee clip for handlebars.

ConsPlastic jubilee clip not really strong enough to maintain a firm grip on handlebar

ProsHelps maintain a comfortable rear view

Works well once you take the time to fine adjust. I don't like the plastic jubilee clip handlebar mount because it's too flimsy and easy to mess up the allen key screw fitting, thus not able to tighten it sufficiently around the bar to minimise wobbling. I suspect that I shall replace with a metal jubilee clip in due course. Otherwise the mirror itself works well. Due to anno domini I have limited neck movement which means I now cannot comfortably turn my head far enough to take a good look behind.

What is the length of the mirror rod in a straight line between the centres of the rod ball-ends and how does this compare with the Cycle Spur 80 mirror (Your part number 36573)?

Hello, Thank you for your enquiry.
The distance between the centres of the rod ball-ends is 125mm.
The only difference between the two mirrors is that part #36573 has an 80mm mirror whereas part #16567 has a 60mm mirror.

How Long Is The Stem, And What'S The Diameter Of The Mirror?

Hello,

The length of the stem is approximately 125mm and the mirror diameter is approximately 60mm including the outer rim. Also there should not be a problem fitting it onto butterfly handlebars, however we have not tested this.
