ProsVery stable

A lovely robust stand as expected from Pletscher. It fitted my 1999 Dawes Galaxy fine but had to adjust length shorter than the minimum to get the correct lean. Not sure who would use it at full length. Anyway does the job fine and very pleased with my purchase.

ProsEnsures bike is stable

I fitted this to my touring bike. It is versatile & makes it so much easier when leaving you bike somewhere.
With it fitting on the rear of the bike, it ensures the bike is more stable especially when it is loaded with kit.

Works really well.

Fairly easy to assemble. Wouldn't use on carbon frames- metal clamp would scratch and poss. crush tubes. Flip action solid and sturdy.

Excellent quality. Very sturdy.

Not that easy to get the fitting just right. Kept having to reset to get the seat stay part right. As it is a one off it doesn't matter that much.

Proswell made, good adjustment

Well made, simple to fit with plenty of adjustment for fitting to a wide range of tube sizes and angles. Also plenty of length adjustment with two screws. When not in use, lies close to frame unlike some stands which tend to stick out too much. Secure and solid in use. The best stand I have owned.

We cannot say- as we haven't fitted this to that model bike- We suggest speaking to TREK for advice as to what kickstands they suggest to use with their bikes.

The frame has a support that crosses from the chainstay to the seatstay. So the attachment for the stand will have to be forward of this. What is the maximum extension of the attachment bracket?

Hello, we cannot confirm if this will work with your bike as we are not a Genesis dealer.
The maximum extension of this kickstand is approx 390mm from floor to pivot point of the kick stand.

Will this fit a Specialized Sirrus Sport 2001 model please? I previously purchased a Pletscher Double leg prop stand and the mounting would not fit between the chain stays.
