Very big, very shiny, very loud!
The sound is reminiscent of an old fashion shop bell and seems to make people smile a lot: excellent for a cycle path where courtesy counts. The hammer ring continues for a good few seconds so a second burst is rarely required.

Does what it ought to... nice tones, too.
The only potential problem is that the mounting arrangement is quite bulky, which constrains the location on the handlebars. I couldn't get it comfortably close to the integrated brake/shifters on my wife's bike.

What you need to know about this is that firstly it is large, and secondly think twice about using it near the graveyard as it might just wake the dead! Yes...very loud. Seems well made, just the ticket on my commute bike.
