What a find, does the job for less than two quid, and a good loud bell for its size.

Bell hammer, plastic , deformed with minimal use and left no spring back to strike bell.

Needs padding under clamp to prevent rotation. Works fine in summer but spring goes rigid in winter so it doesn’t ring at all.

Weak and inconsistent sound. It does not grip tight enough on 22.2 mm bars, so when you depress the trigger-lever the bell rotates, especially in wet conditions. The dome is loose and the ping too close to the dome so when riding on a pothole or off road the bell rings. In some countries a bell is mandatory, otherwise, you would be better learning to whistle, it is loud, reliable, fast, always handy, inconspicuous on the handle bar, weightless, cannot be stolen, last a lifetime and a long-established flirting tool.
