A good alternative bottom bracket to replace scarce Shimano . Seems well made, nice alloy cups and smooth bearings, too soon to say about reliability yet but I’ve got high hopes for this. Great service from St John Street cycles!

Normally purchase shimano bottom brackets but have been disappointed with the new square taper that replaced the old 55 type. Thought i would give these a try as the quality looked good and the specification was appealing. Fitted really nicely and the item looked well made. Only time will tell on durability but so far so good.

Like - metal cups , extra seal on cups , bearing seems very smooth. Too early to comment on durability. Fitted to tandem , not a big choice of bearings this length.

I actually found the one I bought was too long for the chainline (long story!). But I was so impressed with the quality and price that I bought the same in the right size.
(I'll keep the wrong sized one in stock - never know when i might need it.)
