This is an update to my earlier review. The bearings started to make noises after about 16 months of use, thats 2800 miles. The bearings are sealed and not accessible for greasing so they are now in the bin replaced by some Sun Tour ones, more expensive but hopefully longer lasting

ProsGood price, good choice of axle length.

Bought 2 of these to replace the bbs on my tandem. They were the only ones I could find with such a long axle. The price was right and they seem to be good quality. I hope they last as long as the old ones.

What is the shell diameter of NECO bottom bracket

SJS Customer Service:

The centre of the bottom bracket is 31.2mm, it is designed to fit into a standard 34.8mm English threaded bottom bracket shell. SK 07/03/24

is this product pre-greased beyond the water proof sealing?

Hi there,

Generally bottom brackets are greased as required, the fitter will need to apply grease to the thread of the BB/frame during installation.
