Direct Fit for Cannondale BB shell.

ConsShipment expensive.

ProsDirect fit to Connondale Essentric BB shell.

Recently my Cannondale Essentric BB had crossthread. From CannondaleSpares.com the part number was A181 but SjsCycle the part number was 1FG. After received, both actually are identical spare.

ProsCheap - fits my bike

Perfect fit for replacing the eccentric BB in my Charge Grater 3 2014. In fact, seems to be identical to original part. Good price compared to alternatives i'd looked at. My original one had ceased (possibly due to lack of grease) and was a pig to remove, but now i understand how these work, will be able to maintain and hopefully not have the same issue in future.

I recommend this product

Great product, easy to fit and slotted into my Charge Mixer 11 perfectly. I like the way it secures itself by pushing outwards and does not rely on the crude mechanism my old eccentric BB holder used whereby two self-tapping screws held in the frame penetrated the BB by drilling a small hole in it. I used grease when installing it and so far it's silent and squeak free.

It is slightly smaller in diameter than the "Eccentric Bottom Bracket Insert Taiwanese" also sold on this site which was a fraction too wide for my bike.

My rear BB is all the way forward, while the front one is at 6 o'clock, does a quarter turn provide enough length to take out over segment from the rest chain?

I cannot see how, the BB wouldn't fit in a BB30 frame, and a BB30 bb would not fit this.

What's the inside diameter ?

I'm looking for a 54mm / 68mm EBB with an inside diameter around 35mm (to fit a mid-drive motor) would that one fit ?

What's the minimum clearance between the inside diameter and the outside diameter ?

Can this be used with Raven Sports tour

The exentric BB insert in my 12 years old Thorn Raven Sports tour has lots of indentation from the grub screws, is this product a suitable replacement? If not which is the correct Thorn eccentric BB insert and cartridge bearing.

Unfortunately as we have never sold your bike we have no way of knowing if this will fit it or not I'm afraid. This eccentric is 68mm long and 53.8mm in diameter.
