A simple part that works really well at keeping water and grime away from bearings. This part alone is probably why the Hope BB bearings last as long as they do.

What is the thickness of the spacer

Hi
Thank you for your enquiry. This spacer measures 0.80mm around the outer edge but around the hole in the centre it is lipped & this is 1.84mm thick.

How do these seals compare to the Wheels Manufacturing

Looking at Hope and also Wheels Manufacturing for a threaded Shimano Hollowtech II BB, how are these seals compared to the Wheels BB seals, which do not look like they use a grove inside the threaded cap?
The Shimano bottom brackets are sealed and do not require any after market seals. We could not advise, neither the Hope or WMFG seals are designed to be used with the Shimano bbs.
