Bought this shimano deore bb52 bottom bracket from SJS cycles at a great price I.e cheaper than anywhere! got me back on the road again, it replaced my old knackered bb51 which is the same but the bb52 is an improved version better bearing seals ,thanks SJS

What width is this BB, do you have other widths?

SJS Customer Service:

This bottom bracket is intended for 68-73mm shell widths and for cranks using a 24mm spindle. SK 18/07/24

SM-BB52 is not in stock, do you have an alternative?

Sure- SJS part 54800 would suit- a bit more expensive, however.

What is the difference between the SM-BB52 and the BB52 bottom bracket.

I need to know which one to buy to replace the bottom bracket on my Mountain Bike, some are listed as SM some are not, what is the difference?

SJS Customer Service:

SM is just the coding for the BB. we only use Shimano's coding which is SM-BB52 however other places may light the same item slightly differently.
