Suitable for use with Brompton Bikes. Can be used in place of Brompton BB Cartridge JIS for Spider Crankset - 119mm (Brompton Part # 9044016 / QBBCART-119-JIS).

Make your Brompton lighter with Ti Parts Workshop titanium components. This Titanium Bottom Bracket saves approximately 107g over the original Brompton component.

CNC Produced from Ti-6AL-4V

- Ti Parts Workshop Component: 142g
- Weight Saving: 107g

Requires a Fag specific bottom bracket removal tool. (Park Tool's is SJSC part #839)

Please Note - to ensure perfect alignment it is recommended to have the bottom bracket shell faced by a local bike shop.

Benefits over standard?

What sre the particular benefits of the ceramic bearings over the standard Ti Parts Japanese bearings?

Rounder and smoother. The number one reason why ceramic bearings work well, is because Silicon Nitride (the material that the balls are made off) can be made with much more accuracy than steel.

Can I use this with the existing post 2017 Brompton crank and pedals? Or do I have to buy the whole new JK Crankset and Pedals?

Hello there

Can you advise the technical specification of your Ti Parts bottom bracket spindles?

Can you advise the outside diameter of the spindle, and which cartridge bearings are used in these bottom brackets?

This particular BB uses Enduro Ceramic 6903LLB bearings, the diameter of the axle is 14.85mm.
