The new V-Type 2 inserts just got heavier with 1.5mm more pad material than the original V-Type insert and still fits most to all Shimano style V-brake holders.
Length 72mm. Brake surface length 70mm.
Features:
- Water grooves
- Dual compound for all conditions
- Rim friendly.

I recommend this product

Got these blocks to replace my Shimano pads and have experienced much more stopping power. Just wish I had known about these before I got my rear CSS rim as I suspect that these will provide better stopping power in wet and dry conditions on my tandem.

Do these have pins?

I am looking for inserts for V brakes that take a pin at one end (Kool Stop H5, I think), but I see no pin or holes for pins in the photo. Thanks!
