Are D20 pads softer ?

I bought Shimano ATB BR-M550 from you and THEY are quite old and hard. (the metal parts had corrosion) are the D20 s softer ?

Unfortunately we have no way of testing whether these are harder or softer.

How does this D20 product compare with original Shimano?

I'd be grateful for your frank opinion as to which of the two has the softer compound rubber.
Could you also advise as to the merits of the two makes. Is the D20 version up to the job?

SJS Customer Service:

Generally we would have thought Shimano would be a slightly softer compound, we also would suggest Shimano may be slightly higher quality, the D20 will more than likely do the job for many cases.
