Details
The Dura 2 inserts is KoolStop's newly designed road pad. The pad is thicker than KoolStop's Dura type for longer life. Has a 7.65mm contact width for narrow rims and cut outs for reduced weight.

Features:

- Reduced weight
- Rim friendly compounds. Length 53mm. Brake surface length 52mm.

ProsIndispensable with CSS rims
If you have CSS rims, you need these brake blocks.

The rim isn’t going to wear down, so clearly these are, so think about buying multiple sets

ConsSo-so performance when wet, squeal horribly when newly installed.
ProsIf you have CSS rims, these are the only game in town.
I put CSS rims under my Brompton and rebuilt the wheels. Nothing but praise but also a word of warning: especially during the first couple 100 km you absolutely need these blocks and none other. All others will literally come apart, I went through a pair of Koolstop salmon in 3 days. Braking performance dry is a bit lower than Koolstop salmon. When wet it's not terrible, think direction Fibrax pads on Brompton.

Will these fit my V-brakes

Hello,

Are these just for road calipers or will they also fit my Shimano Deore XT BR-T780 V-Brakes?
