Details
the extended pad length and off centre post design provides even wear for longer life. A water groove is located below the mounting post for optimal water dispersion.
An angled plow tip is featured for rain and mud removal. This also provides correct toe in during installation
Dual Compound - Black & Salmon pads for all around weather conditions.
Length: 64mm. Brake surface length 62mm.

ConsPrice, Sharp eyed snob might say nit period correct on old bike.
ProsSet up, Great in wet and dry.
Decided to try these on classic bike with centre pulls as I had worn the blocks I replaced down. Clearly make it more usable in wet and dry. Fit fine and cup washer design also helps set up. I still think they look OK on an old bike. Might dremmel off some excess thread. Might not...

I have a GIANT Halfway.. which had terrible brakes... fitting these pads has made a difference

compatibility with road style calliper brakes

Hi,

These just arrived but they seem bulkier than what I am replacing them for.

I have Tektro calliper brakes that look like Tektro R737, on a Salsa Casserole 2009 bike. Do you think these pads could be compatible? Cheers.
Kool Stops site makes it out that they are optimized for Cantilever brakes.
