Do This Need To Attach To Specific Drop Trigger Levers

I have an old peugeot racing bike with trigger leavers and want to have the option to break in 2 positions. this looks ideal but not sure if i also then need to purchase different trigger leavers also to attach them to.

These levers are designed to work on their own rather than in conjunction with another brake lever.
