An Alternative To The Usual Road Bike Levers

Prosform, fit, function, flair

I bought a pair of these partly because I don't get on too well with normal levers for drop bars and partly because I remember the old Weinemann extension levers and wanted something that worked in a similar way (but reliably). These are nicely finished, work well, easy to fit, all round good kit really. My only criticism is it's not possible to adjust the gap between bar and lever. It would be nice to be able to do that especially on my randonneur style bars which leave a larger gap I guess than more standard drop bars.

Will These Levers Work With V Brakes?

No I'm afraid these levers have been designed with calliper brakes in mind so they do not pull the necessary amount of cable to be used with V-brakes.
