Recently refreshed my cockpit and these hood covers were replacing the OE fitted, a bit stubborn to fit, initially I thought I had ordered incorrect model, but that wasn’t the case. Just required a bit of extra effort to fit.

Genuine Shimano part which was very easy to fit. Makes a big difference to comfort when riding on the hoods as my old ones kept coming loose due to their ages / wear.

After a few tumbles my brake hood were in a right mess, scratches and holes all over the place. These are perfect replacement. Really hard to fit though. Require a lot of hand strength to stretch over levers. At first they seemed smaller than my old ones but I think that was just because they were new and hadn't stretched over time.

Will these fit ST-5703?

I’ve done some research and found that mine have been discontinued, I believe the product number is Y6TK09000. Can’t find any info online/forums as to whether these fit. Fingers crossed

Thank you for your enquiry. We cant guarantee it however the ST-5703 & ST-5700 were released at the same time, the double & triple versions so we think that these should fit.

Hi,

Unfortunately these are a different shape and size to your hoods. We would not have any hoods for the ST-1055 levers either as they have long since been discontinued so are no longer available I'm afraid.

As we never stocked your bike we have no way of knowing which series of 105 was fitted i'm afraid. Judging by the age of the bike it is quite likely to be the 5700 series though.

Unfortunately these bracket covers are no longer available, Shimano stopped making them many years ago as they are now 4 generations out of date.
