Brilliant Stoppers for straight handle bar conversions on a Rim Road bike

ProsDuel purpose and well made

An old school bike mechanic point me in this direction as a not so old school bike mechanic!
Firstly they do work extremely well when you convert a drop handle bar on a rim brake road bike to straight bars. The instructions are super clear as there is two options.Calliper and cantilever braking systems are catered for here. Put some good quality rim pads into your calliper's and have fun.

it talks about 'coverting to calliper'...is it obvious how to do it/do they come with instructions?

Lever/Brake Compatibility

Are either of the Dia Compe MX 2 V or the Tektro MT2.1 brake levers compatible with the DiaCompe 806 Caliper Brake 5775 mm Drop?

Hi,

Both of those brake levers can have their cable pull converted between V-brake and cantilever/calliper brakes. So either of these levers could be used with those brakes providing you have them both set in the shorted cable pull setting.
