Are you sure this is for alloy brakes.

Are you sure this is for alloy brakes. The nut by the spring washer should be 8mm across the flats if it is correct. Thanks
This is a generic part- in our experience, it fits most old alloy brakes. The nuts measure approx 8mm across the flats.

The dimaeter of cable this part is designed for is (⌀1.5mm).
Galaxy rear brake cable hanger

Hi I have a Dawes Galaxy from the mid 90's and need the cable hanger for the rear brake. The frame has the bridge with a hole through it would this work
We could not confirm without seeing the bridge hole etc. but this is a product to allow users to create a brake stop.
