- Inboard and outboard adjuster knobs for simple, tool-free pad wear adjustments
- Tri-Align caliper positioning system
- Integrated Cable Stop
- Spring Tension Adjustment
- G2CS rotor
- Compatible with SRAM Red, Force, Rival and Apex Levers
- Weight: 329g
Useful note:
When installing new mechanical disk brakes, or mechanically actuated hydraulic disk brakes- we always recommend using non compression outer cables- such as Jagwire KEB-SL outer cable, as well as a new high quality inner cable. Metal cable ferrules are suggested. Also, ensure that when the outer cable is cut- the cut is clean and the internal is not distorted as to snag the inner cable.

By Chris
18 Dec 2020
Are the Avid BB7 Compatible with flat mounts and are my Cane Creek V levers compatible with road or MTB version?
SJS Customer Service:
the avid bb7 ROAD use short pull - same as caliper brakes whereas the MTB version uses long pull (same as v brake).
Hope this helps!

Will these work with both 140 and 160mm rotors
By Dave
21 May 2019
is it a case of adapters in the kit for various roto sizes, or do I need to have a 140mm model or a 160mm model
SJS Customer Service:
HI there,
This will only work with 160mm rotors. It would be a case of having to get a 140mm model and a 160mm model I'm afraid.
Thanks.

Would you recommend road or mtb version for touring mostly on road and gravel trails?
Would you recommend road or mtb version for touring mostly on road and gravel trails?
SJS Customer Service:
This is for 1 brake and 1 rotor, you use the same brake for front or rear, so you need to order 2 for a pair.
The road / mtb version choice is 100% dictated by the brake levers you are using to match the suitable pull ratio.
Thanks

Could you please recommend levers that would work on a straight handlebar.
My cables are SRAM Shimano® Universal MTB brake cable head.

SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
As these are the road versions of the BB7 brakes they use the same cable pull as caliper and cantilever brakes so you require a set of flat bar levers suitable for use with this type of brake. We stock a few including the Shimano R550 levers which are SJSC part 14892.
Thanks.
