This was just what I wanted, the hanger part does not drop down too far, the metal is strong and the finish is good. It's also at the right price.

ProsFits old bikes
I fitted a new high short reach quill stem to my wife's bike and needed a front brake hanger suitable for an old bike 1" headset.
SJS to the rescue again, this front brake hanger did the job perfectly, it even had a notch to stop it rotating as I tightened the top headset nut.
