ProsRetro looks, useful for getting wheel out.

I like my brake blocks set really close to the rim, so for cantilever brakes this is very useful with the quick release to give enough slack to get the wheel out or at least to be able to then unhook the straddle wire. Perfect for my retro touring bike! Really good value too.

Proscabel release system is spot on

I weas looking for a retro Cable hanger for mey breezer mk1. i looked at loads of used tatty Mafac hangers on ebay for £40 this was spot on at only £10 and at my door in less thant 48 hrs. perfect job done.

Hi,

As far as I am aware stems of that size generally use a threaded headset and therefore a hanger mounts under the top lock nut.

Grinding Off The Alignment Notch On This Hanger?

My headset doesn't have a groove to match the alignment notch on this brake hanger. Is there anything to stop me grinding it off to make it fit?

Although its not something we'd recommend there is nothing stopping you doing this and it should still work fine without the notch.
