Hope Shroud to Suit Braided Hose

I have a goodridge braided hose i ordered, which is prob 1mm larger in diameter than the standard hope braided hose. The standard 5mm shroud fits both the black hose and the braided hope hose. This shroud is larger on the female receiving end, but smaller on the nut end. The nut end does not fit this goodridge hose. Is the 6mm shroud larger on the nut end while the same size as the 5mm on the receiving end? if so, I think this will work
