TRP Spyre Flat Mount Disc Caliper - Black

The TRP Spyre brake is a dual sided mechanical brake where both pads actuate providing even and precise clamping force. This translates into even pad wear and, with the addition of a simple cable barrel adjuster, the pads can be adjusted easily and hassle free. No frustration at completely adjusting the whole caliper, only to have it continue to drag the fixed side, adding wear! All of this in a incredibly thin 40mm wide, 162g slender package that works with any of the drop bar levers on the market.

Please note: Flat mount calipers will require the below bracket to mount them to the frame or fork. The only exception is when running a 140mm rotor on the rear as the caliper will mount directly to the frame.

Useful note:
When installing new mechanical disk brakes, or mechanically actuated hydraulic disk brakes- we always recommend using non compression outer cables- such as Jagwire KEB-SL outer cable, as well as a new high quality inner cable. Metal cable ferrules are suggested. Also, ensure that when the outer cable is cut- the cut is clean and the internal is not distorted as to snag the inner cable.
