Disc brake adapter to allow the use of flat mount calipers on a frame or fork that is equipped with standard IS mounts.

Compatibility:
- Rear IS Mount (Frame): 160mm rotors only
- Front IS Mount (Fork): 180mm rotors only

Tested with Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo flat mount calipers. 160mm specific calipers like Hope and Campagnolo will increase the rotor size by 20mm. Front specific calipers like Hope and Campagnolo will not work with this adaptor.

EVO fork using Shimano 105 Hydraulic discs

I have just bought an EVO carbon fork from SJS, and want o mount Shimano 105 hydraulic discs, which i believe are flat-mount. Can i use this adaptor, and will I have to go from 160mm to 180mm to make them all work together?

Yes this will convert IS to flat mount, but be aware the max rotor for the Evo fork is 160mm so it is not advised. SK 07/02/25

Can I used this to mount XT flat mount brakes to a Surly Preabmle with IS mounts?

Can I use this to fit Paul flat mount Klampers on my IS mount Surly Ogre frame?

As per the question. I have a Surly Ogre frame with IS brake mounts. I would like to make use of a pair of Paul Klampers that are flat mount. What adapters could I use for 160mm rear rotor and 180mm front rotor. (160 possibly). Apologies I find this not only a minefield to work out what is needed, but then to find it. Thanks

You can use these for the front brake however you are restricted to the original Surly mount for the rear to match the drop outs. SK 19/12/23
