Hello There,
Can you please let me know if this Matumura Soft suspension is comparable to the standard Brompton one?
And what about the Matumura Firm suspension? is it comparable to the CHP3 Firm suspension? or else?
Thank you for your help!

SJS Customer Service:
The soft is about the same, a touch lighter than the OE firm, firm scrowave is firmer than OE.

Brompton suspension blocks
By Isidore

Hi, I mainly ride a Moulton AM7 and a have a brompton as a utility bike. I weigh under 70 kg-about 66.. New bromptons come with what they describe as an intermediate stiffness spring but having had a brompton with an original soft spring, the new ones are rock hard and very much harder than the moulton spring which is in any case much more sophisticated. Can you still source the original brompton soft suspension block- the Matumara soft is a solution but I really don't want to spend £70. Do you have a more cost effective solution? The only person that is happy is my osteopath
SJS Customer Service:
No, the OG soft springs are long gone sadly!

If you like a stiff bike, that feels like a road bike go firm, if you would like some compliance, think about the soft.

Hi can you expand on "makes the suspension much more stable and active"
SJS Customer Service:
Easier to understand by using one! The Kohki springs give the bike a more stable less bouncy feel, which makes it feel faster/active to pedal hard.
