Use the proper shimano versions as these only last for a couple of months. Had the shifter end just shear off and left me without gears, not impressed.

I recommend this product

Easy to fit, and to remove after a long life, and comes with a packet of cap ends if you buy several. All gear and brake cables should be supplied with them. This cable is remarkably stretch-proof, hardy and will last long.

Prosvalue 4 money

Excellent value for money Shimano compatible without the price . These are extra long and they seem to be pre stressed so they won't stretch and therefore keep the gear changes accurate for longer .

How long is this cable?

This is described as "Shimano Gear Cable - 210cm" but the details say "200cm"
