Details

Support light loads and handlebar bags with the exquisitely crafted M12 front rack from Nitto.

Hand-brazed tubular plated steel, the M12 mounts to most bikes with cantilever brakes and a drilled fork crown. It features two side braze-ons to mount a light, plus it includes cantilever adapter studs to mount to a fork.

Will not fit non drilled fork crown such as Thorn forks.

Dimensions; 105mm wide X 210mm deep.

Bag support is 110mm tall.

ConsLovely piece of kit!

ProsYou need to work out an "alternative" fixing for a rear carrier

I bought this as a rear saddlebag-support as I don't feel the Carradice Bagmans are structurally sound (and I know they do break!)
I had to improvise a bit as the bolts they provide to fit the cantilever brase-ons don't really work and the central bolt didn't fit in my drilled-out hole over the mudguards.
So... I just used the standard cantilever bolt through the cantilever brakes (which works fine!) and jigged up a fix for the mudguard fitting and it's great!
It's a super-strong saddle-bag support! I can't see this ever breaking. Really good quality, but you need to be prepared to work out a good fix if you want to use it as a rear support.
