ConsI no longer want to use cheaper cassettes!

ProsLong lasting, alloy carrier, good value compared to XTR

Great quality product, has lasted a year of mud and abuse and is still working like new. The alloy carriers that the larger sprockets are mounted to are great as it stops the cassette damaging the freehub body like some of the cheaper cassettes can do.
Good value when compared to the ridiculous price of the XTR option.

Is this cassette compatible with a FH-M525-A freehub

Can you also advise what chain is compatible with this cassette. Cannondale F2 bike. Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, this cassette will work with your hub as the FH-M525-A is 8, 9 & 10 speed compatible, you can use this with the KMC X10 which is our item number 50311.

Have a Shimano HG500 .10 speed 11-34. Can I replace it with an 11-36 Shimano cassette ( this or another ) ?
.Derailleur is SLX M670. Thanks

with Friction shifters ?

Hi, Please confirm I can use the 11-34 or 11-36 with Dia-Compe Bar end friction shifters, without needing any extra items ? What type of rear derailleur would you recommend ?

11-36 cassette on road bike - MTB mech required?

I would like to fit an 11-36 cassette to my Specialized Roubaix which has a 10 speed Shimano105 rear mech. Will I need to fit a MTB rear mech to handle the large cog and will this work OK with the 105 Flight deck shifters? Thank you

Hi there,

If you had a GS cage mech the largest cassette would be an 11-32t, simply fitting an MTB derailleur would mean the pull ratios were incompatible so you would then need to use a Jtek Shiftmate, or simply a mech hanger extender - SJS Cycles part number : 46570

hello, is this compatible with a shimano ultegra 6700 road bike front chain set?

Hi,

In theory there is nothing stopping you running this cassette with a 6700 front chainset. You may need to run a longer chain and if you are also running a 6700 rear derailleur then that will not be compatible with this cassette.
