It does what it is meant for.
One thing to note, however: I was using mine to get a 7-speed SRAM cassette onto an 11-speed Shimano freehub body. For this combo, I needed this spacer plus the spacer that is needed for an 8-speed cassette on an 11-speed freehub body, i.e. I needed two spacers. I don't know if that is that case for all 7-speed cassettes, as (so I have heard) 7-speed cassettes come in varying stack heights.

ProsSimple and effective

Worked just fine, with just a minimal amount of adjustment to make the new setup shift sweetly. Used on a new hub to replace a 7 speed freewheel.

Could you please provide the inner and outer diameter of this spacer ring?
