Details
Made from 7075 T6 heat treated aluminium sheet, cut in the traditional manner on a lathe which produces a much better and more accurate tooth form than the pressing method which is used by most other chainring manufacturers. The teeth are higher and the deeper groove eliminates chain suck. The ring thickness has been increased from 3.5 to 4.0mm. This strengthens the area which is ramped to best effect.

Can I use the 28 TA ring as the inner on a Campagnolo 10 speed triple?
By Al Babington

My current inner Campagnolo inner ring is 30T 74BCD. Is the width of the TA ring suitable for a 10 speed chain?
Thanks
Thanks

Lowest chainring size for FC-5703
By Anonymous
01 Oct 2019
For a drivetrain with 105 FC-5703 (50/39/30) FD-5703 11-36 cassette. What is the smallest 74BCD inner chainring that will work realistically with this crankset given that the FD-5703 has a capacity of 20T.
SJS Customer Service:
Hi there,
Following their specification, the smallest that you could go to is 30T due to the capacity of 20T. You could possibly get away with a 26T but we wouldn't say to go any smaller than that. This should work, however, as we have never done this we cannot say for certain im afraid.
Thanks.

Thanks!

SJS Customer Service:
We do not think this would work perfectly as it is designed for 9/10 speed.

24Tooth Inner Chainring For 5 Speed Chain (Silver)
By Tim Banks
23 May 2017
I have an old (1990) bike with 5 speed rear cogs and want to swap the inner chainring for a 24T - do you have any rings suitable? All the rings on the website (eg Zelito) are described as 9/10 speed. The BCD is 74mm, and there are 5 arms. thanks
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
The ring we'd recommend is the one from Stronglight that is SJSC part number 33956. These were designed for the same gauge chain as used on 5spd systems so will be the best fit.
Thanks.
