130mm PCD 5 arm chainring with integrated chain-guard for use with Brompton bicycles. Made from 7075 aero spec aluminium with T6 heat treatment, lightweight yet ultra strong and durable.

Can I use this 40 tooth chain ring with a 12 speed Brompton P line Explore?

SJS Customer Service:

Thank you for your enquiry, yes this will be fine on a P Line however as the chain catcher only has a lowest position for a 44t, it will leave a gap.

Will this 40t chainring be suitable to lower the gears on a 6 speed Brompton C Line Explore (2024)?

Thank you for your enquiry, yes it will be fine, however you will need to remove 4 links if dropping from a 50t chainring
