CAN I USE THIS WITH 36t CHAINRING?
By
12 Dec 2017
HI, MY CURRENT SETUP IS XTR M9020 36-26t AND I WOULD LIKE TO REPLACE WITH THIS TO 36-28t.
WILL IT FIT?
Hi there,

Yes this should work IF your current chain rings are also "A" match - if not it may still work but I would side with it not.

The chain rings need to match so the timing of when the teeth align is correct. I would expect noisier shifts, a delay or reluctance to shift, and a number of other issues if the rings do not match.

Thanks
