Great With Chainglider

I recommend this product
ConsNone
ProsStainless Steel, thinner
Bought this for use with a Hebie ChainGlider, it is thinner than the Thorn reversible chainrings so fits the ChainGlider better.
Fitting easy, although there was a touch of adjustment available, spinning the chainring when fitting allowed a perfect placement to be bolted up.
Needed single chainring bolts as I was no longer using the outer Thorn chainring guard.

Are these chainrings (or any steel single chainrings for that matter) in black colour?

Thanks in advance
We are not currently stocking / aware of any steel single rings in black.

Thanks
Suitable black steel cranks?
By
16 May 2018
Are there any steel cranks, in black, that would be suitable for these chainrings (I can’t seem to find any)?

Thanks
Unfortunately we are not aware of any black steel cranks on the market to fit this ring, steel in general has become less common for use in manufacturing cranks.

Thanks
8 spd or 10 spd suitability?

Would this chainring be suitable for an
(a) 8 speed transmission or
(b) a 10 speed?

Thanks
This chainring will be suitable for both 8 and 10 speed use.

Thanks
Chainguards suitable for this?
By

Do you sell suitable chaingaurds for this setup?

I would like to consider both “long chainguards” (the type that cover the top run of chain and attach to the seat stay) as well as “short chainguards” (the circular ones that attach to the outside of chainring).

Thanks in advance.

Regards

The suitable guards will depend on the bike / the rest of the components. We sell both our own Thorn guards and other brands alike. You can see all of our guards here - https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/chainsets-chainguards/

Thanks

BCD 110 & PCD 110. I require a BCD of 110. Please confirm the sizing
Hi,

PCD and BCD measure the same thing; PCD is pitch circle diameter and BCD is bolt circle diameter, they both are just different names for the same measurement. This chainring will fit your chainset fine.

Thanks.
