Are these reusable, i.e can you break a chain and then rejoin it? How do you install these? Thanks

SJS Customer Service:

These are reusable, you fit and remove them by flexing the link and fitting and removing the outer plate. SK 03/08/23

Do these come with a C clip to hold them inplace?

SJS Customer Service:

No, these are sold as seen, the male plate is designed to be bent inward, allowing it to slot into the female plate and then hold itself in place.
