Are these needed for 11 speed rings used with a 8 speed chain and cassette?

What size will I need to correctly space the front two rings for use with an 8 speed chain? Thanks
SJS Customer Service:
Sadly we cannot confirm as we have not tried this before, 8 speed chain on 11-speed rings will be very sloppy!

with three chain rings. I recently changed the rear cassette and chain. I suspect that I now need to change the spacers in the chain rings becausesince changing the chain it drops bewtween the front rings and jams when changing gear on the front derailleur. Can you advise if this is likely to be the problem and if so, what size spacers would you recommend, please?
SJS Customer Service:
Hi, without having your bike here it's impossible to diagnose the problem accurately. We suggest taking your bike to a local bike shop for inspection.

Hi. i want to use a shimano 10 speed triple FC-5703 50-39-30 crankset with a 9 speed triple front derailleur, 9 speed rear derailleur, 9 speed chain, and 9 speed cassette. Do I need any of these spacers? If yes, then which size, how many and where should I place them? thanks
SJS Customer Service:
Hi there,
With this set up you should no need any spacers, however, as we have never tried this we cannot say for certain I'm afraid.
Thanks.

Which Thickness for 9 speed chain-rings
By Perry

I have a 10-speed triple crank-set and want to put 9-speed chainrings on the crank.
Everything else is 9-speed (FD, RD, chain). Shimano.
What is best?
The 0.6mm spacer?
Thanks

SJS Customer Service:
Hi there,
0.6mm will be your best option as there won't be a huge amount of difference in the thickness.
Thanks.
