Does this have a double chain guard?

This fine to use on a 1x8 setup?

Would this be fine on a 1x8 derailleur setup? I really like these cranksets on my single speed or hub geared bikes. I understand that a normal 2x setup has the advantage of the derailleur to act as a chain guide and keep the chain slipping off, will the chain guard on this be sufficient to do the same?

Is it possible to get replacement rings for this chain set. I have a Moulton TSR9. It came from the factory with this chain set and a dished 54t chain ring. Thanks.

Weight - confusion

On the sturmey web site they say these chainsets (both left and right combined) weigh a total of 640g ?

Don't suppose you could weigh yours and confirm ?

I believe it is 640g for the 56T chainset and 630g for the 54T one.

Which square taper bottom bracket, JIS or ISO?
