Neat idea, better made than an earlier version, just works

I recommend this product
This is a brilliant idea for touring especially, avoiding need to carry a crank extractor. I bought an earlier version, different brand, and one side worked, but the other one failed as the threaded insert was too narrow and broke up. These look much more robust, more than half the depth. Taper-fits can tighten with age, so I'll be doing a test extraction with these bolts before each tour.
Good self extracting bolts for older alloy cranks

I recommend this product
ConsNeeds an anti-seize compound to be applied.
ProsDoes the job perfectly.
Fits perfectly into an old Dura Ace alloy chainset, to allow ease of fitting cranks with a torque wrench, and rapid removal when required using an Allen ky.

Are these compatible with Andel Classic crankset (standard m22 extractor threading)?

If they use M8 fixing bolts these should suit, but we cannot confirm as we don't have your cranks here to test fit.

How long is the threaded portion of the bolt?
By

I have some White Industries bolts that are not long enough to self extract a set of Specialized « Flag » tandem cranks. (The traditional Sugino ones with washers are a bit longer and do work).
Thank you for your enquiry, the threaded part is 20mm long

Are the extractor bolts left hand thread?
By
06 Aug 2020
I have a Fratell Brivio crankset to remove that will not take a standard 22 x 1 crank puller, so I'm assuming they must be left hand threaded.
These are not left hand threaded.

Do you ship to Buenos Aires, Argentina?
Hi,

Although we have never tested them with a set of those cranks these self extracting bolts should be fine for use with them. Yes, we ship worldwide.

Thanks.

Are these compatible with a 10 speed campagnolo crank and campag square taper bottom bracket?

Kind Regards,

Lee
Hi,

Although we have never tried fitting this self extracting bolt with any Campagnolo cranks as far as we're aware they still use the same thread so should be absolutely fine.

Thanks.
