I recommend this product
Needed a front mech for a rebuild of an 8 Speed rear three chainring front. Works perfectly well with an 8 rear cassette 9 speed chain and three chainrings.

Shimano list this in two versions - L-3 and L-6 - what is the difference?
Hi
Thank you for your enquiry. The L-3 version has been designed to be used with a 63-66 degree chainstay to seat tube angle range whilst the L-6 is for a 66-69 degree chainstay to seat tube angle range. That is the only difference between the two.
