Has this got a long arm lever as my current derailleur is really differcult to shift across would this solve my problem?
I cannot say if this will solve your problem as another of other factors could be effecting shift performance. Please take your bike to a professional bike mechanic for diagnosis.
Is this front mech top or bottom pull?

Hi. I require a 34.9mm band but there is no option to choose the size when ordering the product. Is this because it's a one size fits all. It's for a 2014 boardman cx
For 34.9 mm it will work as intended, for 28.6/31.8 a special adapters are needed, included with the derailleur.
