NOTE this is NOS (new old stock) there is some slight surface corrosion from storage.

This Shimano TY30 Triple Front Derailleur is an excellent fit with my new Shimano 2303 Square Taper Triple 8sp Chainset on a 120mm bottom bracket.
It is a sturdy design and great value at £7.14.
Arrived ahead of scheduled delivery too.
Result !

no direct shimano replacement, SJS Cycles part number : 26113 would do the job. RT 15042020

Hello, My front mech has disintegrated (after 33 years). Bike is Peugeot Savoie 1987. 5 speed rear, front rings 30-40-50. Bottom pull front mech. Is this the same as "bottom swing"? Frame dia c.29mm (I assume 28.6mm). Frame geometry looks "normal". Please confirm likely compatibility of this item.

I have 48t 38t 28t chainrings , can this cope with 20t difference?

Can I use this with a five speed Shimano cassette?

This is suitable for 5-8 speed, but will not shift across a cassette as its a front derailleur.
