Igaro Spare USB Port

USB ports weren't designed for outdoor use. When wet, the pins (which are close together) suffer electrolysis and corrode which will eventually lead to electrical failure. Keeping a USB port dry may be impractical and as such it is expected the USB port(s) on the Igaro D1 will need replacing at some point during it's working life. Igaro offer a USB port replacement kit which can be fitted without shortening of the cable.

For expedition cyclists. Requires a hairdryer / lighter and soldering iron to replace or electrical tape for a temporary connection to the included wire.
