Details
Includes 27.2 mm seat post and shim, and high quality headset. Supplied with expedition quality steel fork with carrier, mudguard, dynamo and lamp bosses. This frame is suitable for suspension forks from 80 mm - 120 mm travel routing for EX version of the Rohloff hub, stainless guides and bosses, M6 stainless carrier bosses on front fork, stainless seat clamp. ISO rear disc mount. Seat tube is 31.8 mm, top tube is 31.8 mm, down tube is 34.9 mm, 19 mm seat stays.
Although the geometries of the sizes 620M and 620L are suspension compatible, because of the length of their head tubes, there's no suspension fork (that we're aware of) with a steerer sufficiently long enough to be useable with these particular two frame sizes.
INCLUDES:, 1 1/8 (28.6mm) Orbit XL2 threadless headset, 27.2mm alloy micro adjust seat post, alloy eccentric and eccentric screws.
Does not include: fixing screws, bottom bracket or adaptors (SJSC part 11703) to change 2 x M5 bosses on rear dropout to 1 x M6 boss.
We highly recommend that customers add SJSC Item # 23407 Frame Workshop Prep (Includes all threads tapped and stainless bolts fitted for racks, mudguards and bottle bosses.)

Can I have this frame fitted with disc brake fork?

What is the cost of such upgrade? A 20 quid?
Would it be possible for you to build the rear wheel using recommended parts (rim, spokes), using my Rohloff hub as a base? If so, how much would it cost?

Hi there,
Yes you can have this fitted with a disk brake fork, and just pay the retail difference of the two forks, which is £20. In terms of the wheel build, Yes we could do that without an issue. The labour for the build is around the £50.00 mark, depending on the amount of holes that your hub has it can fluctuate, plus the cost of your chosen rim on top.

176 cm height,
80 kg weight,
42 and 1/2 shoe size,
BFSO 80 cm,
Arm span 180cm,

I live in east coast Australia...nr Newcastle.if I buy the frame can I buy the wheels ,crankset,chain,deraillier gears ,bottom bracket,brakes etc from an Australian supplier (parts that are non Thorn manufacturer).in other words can the frame be built up from non Thorn manufactured parts to make a good loaded tourer.how much does it cost to send mk2 Nomad frame,headset,forks to Newcastle australia

This frame can easily be built up with Non-Thorn specific components, the only thing is that this is a hub gear specific bike and has no provision for fitting of a rear derailleur. We can Delivery to Australia, for a quote add all of the items you are looking at to your basket and the website should calculate the cost for you.
