ConsDeveloped a crack after 12 years

ProsLight cheap works no fuss

The standard aluminium Brompton clamp was a replacement for the original 12. Year old clamp that had developed a crack. Super easy to replace.

Not much to say, its a piece of aluminium. The clamps work badly when these wear on your brompton, and can slip resulting in a nasty sounding noise and not doing very much for the hinge pins or frame). As i do high mileage i wear these out about every 18 months. Worth checking as they should clamp on the sides not at the end.
