As has already been written, without this hook the Brompton can not be closed or can be transported. Replacement is of excellent workmanship and the assembly instructions are clear and precise. The price / quality ratio is excellent.
I was shipped to Italy in a convenient packing in a timely manner at a cost more than acceptable.

As for other reivews, it arrived quickly, easy to fit with a second pair of hands (without need to remove mud guard, although maybe I shouldn't recommend that). Bike now folds up safely again after 5 minutes fixing it. Not really much more to say for a nylon hook!

I recently bought an used Brompton that was missing some details, including this hook.
It's essential in order to fold and transport the bike so you can't go very far without it: the folded bike would open like a book.

It's very simple to install.
I preferred the old style hook, made with the same steel of the mudguard fittings, it was smaller end a bit more elegant, but all new Bromptons needs this new hook.
