The Easy Wheels are designed so you can pull the folded Brompton when in transit. The Easy Wheels have a slimmer design than the original Brompton plastic cone wheel, in order to reduce the risk of your trousers getting caught by the wheels when pedalling.
The Easy Wheels are made in 6061-T6 aluminium, and are fitted with special manufactured polyurethane tyres, that ensure a smooth roll. Polyurethane is the same material used for skate wheels, and has an excellent abrasion resistance. The tyres have a new profile that ensure they stay on the rim, also when making tight turns.
- Please Note these will not fit the new P Line bikes (2022)
The wheels come with titanium bolts, and a set of Easy Wheels only weigh 27 grams more than the original plastic cone wheels from Brompton and less than half the weight of a set of inline skate wheels!
The 6mm titanium bolts are for mounting on the frame of the bike, and the 5mm bolts are for mounting on the rear rack.

Replacement tyres

Hi, I have these wheels fitted but the polyurethane tyres are cracked/worn out. Are they available separately?

Will one pair be enough?

I want to fit Easywheels to a 20yr Brompton with rear rack. I obviously need 5mm bolts but how many pairs?

There are two options, the 6mm size for fitting to the frame and the 5mm size for fitting to the rack, so you can indeed fit them just to the frame.
