Do these damage the frame?
By Phil
05 Aug 2021
I’ve read that the genuine Brompton clamps are aluminium and therefore softer than the Brompton steel frame. They are designed to wear to avoid frame damage i.e. the clamp wears but the frame does not.
These Ti parts versions look high quality but as Titanium is very hard, will they damage the frame over time? Thanks.

SJS Customer Service:
Thank you for your enquiry, we are not aware that these will damage the frame any further than the standard ones.

Are the Ti Parts Workshop Lightweight Titanium Hinge Clamp Plates asymetrical?
By Carsten Rohr
18 Nov 2018
Are the Ti Parts Workshop Lightweight Titanium Hinge Clamp Plates asymetrical which means one side is longer than the other so it stays in place when opened, where as the original Brompton hinge clamps are symetrical and can turn ones the joint is open.
Please excuse my poor English.
