Removal tool (again)
By

You mention using the SPA-6 pin tool but I think just removes the facia plate exposing the bearings. In my experience, it does not remove the freewheel.

Can you check with the supplier what tool it requires?

FWIW, and in answer to another question, the indexing is in the adjuster, not the derailleur. You can use whichever one you want. Just use a non-indexed, friction style adjuster.

(From memory, I think it's a 2 pin remover with a 38mm outer, but suspect most people will just use a destructive method to remove it).

Thanks.
Sadly there is no specific removal tool for this freewheel, only a pin spanner to disassemble the freewheel for servicing. SK 25/08/23
I'm wondering how you would remove this freewheel?

Do you remove the ring using the two dimples for leverage turning in the direction indicated? I assume you then access the bearings which you remove and then lift of the sprockets? You would then take off the centre piece using an adjustable spanner?
We would suggest using the Park Tool SPA-6 Adjustable Pin Spanner to remove this.

Which rear derailleur would you recommend using with this freewheel?
Hi, sadly we don't have a derailleur to suit- as this part is designed for very old derailleur systems.

The RJT 3-speed freewheel. Why?

Is this to build a 6-speed derailleur bike? I'm looking to upgrade my Moulton APB from the rubbish Sturmey Archer 5-speed hub to something lighter and I want a simple, traditional derailleur system.
This 3 speed freewheel, it can be used with a double front chainset if required RT 23/04/2020
