Tool for the sprocket?

Do you stock, or know of, the correct tool to remove the sprocket lockring on these freewheels? (Not the normal freewheel removal tool, the larger diameter tool for the 12 notch fitting above it) Thanks!

Thank you for your enquiry. The tool to remove the freewheel is our item number 870 however there isnt a tool to fit the outer splines.

Any 8spd chain we sell will be compatible with this freewheel, however we normally recommend the Sram PC870.

Venture 8 Speed Freewheel?

I got a rear hub with Screw on space for a freewheel. will the Ventura 8 S be the correct spare part to fit? Thank you.

Hi,

If your hub has space for an 8spd freewheel then this will be a suitable option, some hubs that were designed around 5,6 or 7spd freewheels won't have room for an 8spd though. To check 8spd freewheels are normally around 39-40mm wide.
