Compatible with an old tiagra (4600) 10 speed derailleur and cassette.

Will this have enough pull to cover 10 SPD? Just want to experiment with a down tube shifter. Will get something stronger if I take to it!
We know they work with 9 speed, 10 speed should be just withing the reach, please note we have not tested this on 10 speed. SK 22/03/24
What Is The Lever Made Of ? Alloy ? Plastic ?

Would this friction lever work with a Shimano Sora RD-3000 9 speed rear derailleur ?
